Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of Son Cubano, a foundational Cuban genre known for its subtlety, poise, and soulful rhythm. This solo dance course invites you to explore Son through feminine styling and the expressive use of the fan (abanico) as an extension of your body and spirit. * No partner is needed — just your flow, grace, and passion. Develop body awareness, musicality, and refined movement while celebrating Cuban tradition with modern confidence. Duration: 6 weeks | Level: Open | Price: $150 Thursdays, 6-7:30 pm September: 11, 18, 25 October: 9, 16, 23 * This class is available online Location: 📍 Scotiabank Dance Centre – 4th Floor (Jandali Studio) What to Expect: - Torso movement training and control - Coordinated movement with torso and fan - A beautiful dance sequence built progressively throughout the course What to Bring: - A fan (abanico) - Comfortable dancewear - Heels (optional) - A water bottle - Your positive energy and beautiful smile!

Please read the following guidelines carefully before registering: • General Information These are online classes via Zoom only. • In-person classes are held at The Dance Centre Studio in Vancouver, BC. • All class times are scheduled in Vancouver local time (PST). Please adjust for your own time zone. • Before Class You must register at least two days in advance in order to receive your class link. Registration is done via eTransfer to: eleganciacubana@gmail.com Please write in the message box:"Online Zoom Classes – [Name of class]" • During Class You will be able to ask questions during the session. Once the class has started, no technical support will be provided if you are unable to access the link or enter the class on time. • Please check your connection and login early.These classes are live only. They will not be recorded. • Other Policies These classes are open to all dance levels. No refunds will be issued if you miss your class, regardless of the reason.Please join with a respectful attitude. Any inappropriate behaviour or repeated disruptions may result in removal from the class without refund.

Unleash your inner dancer with this high-energy, joyful Cuban Salsa class for all levels and all bodies. This is not about rules — it’s about rhythm, flow, and sandunga! Learn authentic Cuban steps, body movement, and playful footwork while connecting with the beat and your unique flavor. Whether you're new to salsa or looking to level up your style, this is your space to move freely, have fun, and sweat with sabor. IMPORTANT: No partner is needed — this class is open to everyone. Fridays, 7:45–9:00 PM (PST) Sept: 19 & 26. | Oct: 3, 10, 24 | Nov: 7 Scotiabank Dance Centre, (4th floor Studio Kraul) 677 Davie St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2G6 This class is also available online.
